About Hilary Duff
Hilary Erhard Duff was born on September 28, 1987 in Houston, Texas. She is the second
child of Robert Erhard Duff, a businessman who owns a chain of convenience stores, and Susan Colleen Cobb, a homemaker.
At the age of six, Hilary and her sister, Haylie, participated in the ballet “The Nutcracker Suite” in San Antonio, Texas.
They relocated to California with their mother to pursue an acting career, while their father stayed at the family home in Houston to maintain their business.
Hilary Duff have a moderate singing career, releasing four albums in 3 years. Some of her more famous hits include “So Yesterday”, “Come Clean” and “Wake Up”. On a more personal note, Duff began dating singer Aaron Carter in 2000. Their relationship lasted a year and a half after which Carter left her for Lindsay Lohan, before reuniting with Duff again. As of 2006, Duff and Lohan have reportedly still not reconciled. Duff is currently dating Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden, where Duff’s brother, Benji, is also a member.
